A fragrance drawn from the Ottoman soap tradition of Aleppo, that ancient object whose oxidized crust conceals a luminous green heart. From this contradiction between the surface that aged and the essence that did not, KANZ HALAB emerged: an olfactory testimony to a city whose memory refuses to disappear.
At the center of the composition lies a rare ingredient, sourced after a year and a half of correspondence with an Aleppine family who had safeguarded it across generations. It is this single thread that anchors the bottle to a real place, a real lineage, and a craft that never broke.
